Over the years, Perupalem has witnessed a considerable increase in the number of tourists. The area attracts mostly domestic tourists. But the tourism potential of the area is not fully achieved due to lack of infrastructure facilities. Tourists have to travel 20 to 30 kms for lodging and boarding facilities. Due to this main shortage, the place has not achieved its full potential as a famous beach destination. Hence it is a much needed requirement to provide adequate amenities and infrastructure facilities and develop it as a tourist destination. This would attract more domestic and international tourists and elevate the area into a major beach destination of India. A detailed study of the scenario makes it evident that the development of tourism infrastructure facilities has a direct impact of the inflow of tourists.

The project involves destination development of Perupalem beach to make it a fully facilitated tourist destination. Perupalem beach is a mesmerizing virgin beach in the state of  Andhra Pradesh in India. Major requirement of the area is accommodation, lodging facilities and other support tourist facilities involving restaurants, amenity blocks etc.
