GTPDCL has proposed to develop a Water Sports Centre on a suitable 15 km stretch of Narmada main Canal near Koba, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Through a nationwide competitive bidding process, Great India Tourism Planners and Consultants International (GITPAC) were chosen to carry out a Demand & Market Assessment and Pre-feasibility study for Water Sports Activities (WSA) for the proposed project to place before prospective investors.

Objectives of the study and scope of work

*         To carry out site suitability study of proposed intervention area for development of WSA

*         To carry out Demand & Market analysis for the proposed WSA

*         To firm up project scope, product mix, specification and sizing

*         To devise guidelines for proposed WSA

*         To carry out the Pre-feasibility study including identifying support infrastructure, environment assessment, cost estimation, risk identification, financial modeling & sensitivity analysis for development of WSA in Narmada Canal

*         Recommend to IL&FS IDC the required bid parameters for selection of a WSA
